HeLP Support Trail Improvement Projects
Part of the Oregon Coast Trail Foundation’s (OCTF) purpose is to solicit, receive and distribute funding for projects that improve and maintain the physical aspects and infrastructure of the Oregon Coast Trail (OCT). Trail improvement projects focus on maintaining a safe, enjoyable and accessible trail and range from clearing overgrown brush and down trees to enhancing trail infrastructure and repairing washouts. Donations can be made to any of the ten OCT trail sections and are tax deductible as a charitable contribution under our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Thank you for supporting the Oregon Coast Trail!
Join a Volunteer Oregon Coast Trail Work Party
A partnership between the Oregon Coast Trail Foundation and Trailkeepers of Oregon, volunteers can sign up for trail stewardship training and specify which segment of the Oregon Coast Trail they would like to help care for. Join the Oregon Coast Trail party and learn about upcoming trail improvement opportunities and ambassador activities.

Support Oregon Coast Rescue Volunteers
While the Oregon Coast offers limitless adventure, it is also an environment that can present recreational safety hazards. Regional groups of rescue volunteers coordinated through county fire departments have been trained and are on call to assist those in need. Donations are essential to help fund rescue volunteers’ training, certifications and the specialized equipment required to assist in rescue. You can learn more about and donate to groups such as the Tillamook Rescue Volunteers here.
